Vani Sayeed is a Newton, MA based interior designer and artist. Vani grew up in India and spent much of her childhood admiring the artistic creativity of her mother. She earned her BFA in interior design at one of the nation’s most prestigious schools, the Sir J. J. School of Art, in Mumbai. She then worked for a boutique architectural and interior design firm in Hyderabad, India. Vani moved to the USA in 1998 and obtained her MFA in design from the University of Iowa.

Vani’s design aesthetic is strongly influenced by her rich, cross-cultural exposures and experiences. Her love of Indian art and architecture combined with over a decade of living in USA have helped her develop an eclectic and unique style that both respects tradition and embraces new ideas. Vani first began her design business in San Francisco, CA and currently manages projects on both coasts.

A mother of two children, Vani also believes good design accommodates a certain degree of pragmatism: form, function, and beauty are intimately related. She strives to create timeless yet modern, and gorgeous yet livable spaces.
